Just my thoughts #0625

When we exchange what we need, we use money as a medium instead of trading ‘goods for goods.’ In this context, money acts as a means of exchange. When we exchange what we need, we also build wealth by passing on added value to each other. In other words, money functions as both a medium of exchange and a measure of value, as well as a tool for accumulating wealth. But isn’t this a bit strange? Although exchange value comes from goods and surplus is generated from this exchange value, the object used to measure and accumulate wealth is money, not goods. This is because money alone has the privilege called ‘compulsory circulation power.’ In other words, even if value is created, added value cannot be realized unless it’s exchanged. The ability to enable such exchanges is what we call ‘compulsory circulation power.’ - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

The identity of the messenger is more important than the message itself. In other words, it’s crucial to consider whether the messenger’s identity is reliable. It matters more to others that they know who I am and recognize me than how well I have built relationships and interacted with them. Identity begins with my proclamation , and credibility only emerges when others acknowledge that proclamation. If there is a significant gap between my declaration and how others perceive me, I will need to invest considerable time and money to bridge that gap. Similarly, if there is a significant discrepancy between the message I intend to convey and my declared identity, it also requires a substantial amount of time and money. Consumers are acutely aware of these differences, yet they often remain silent about them. Asking others to share their inner self-assessment is as burdensome as expecting them to reveal their true selves. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

In this era, the credibility of the messenger is more important than the content of the marketing message . This means that who said what and who delivered the message are more influential and important. Therefore, rather than merely trying to convey something, it is necessary to establish who the messenger is and to build trust with the public . Thus, defining identity comes first, followed by the sincerity to constantly inform others. Then, people may believe anything, even if it’s a lie, but you must not tell lies. Who we are, what we do, and why we do this, no matter how small, must be communicated with faithfulness and persistence. Don’t try to convince the public; you have to build relationships in order to establish trust with people. The most important factor in forming a relationship is my identity. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”
