According to Morgan Housel, a financial author, whether an investor is safety-oriented or risk-oriented is mainly shaped by early adult experiences, not by intelligence or education. It depends on where and when a person is born. The region I live in, including my country and the era, greatly influences a person’s economic outlook and ability. If you feel ‘no way,’ you might need to change your location. Even when evaluating others, if you estimate ‘no way,’ you should consider having them leave the place. In the Bible, when someone changes their life, the first thing God does is move them from one place to another. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

It also means that if I have been fortunate in the way I have lived up to now, misfortune may come one day. Management involves looking at both sides of this coin. When business conditions are good, we need to prepare for tough times , and when business conditions are bad, we need to prepare for better times. If you have experienced misfortunes so far, you should hope that the opposite can also occur. Nothing lasts forever. The universe also changes from time to time, and we must abandon the notion that the society we live in will remain the same. Management is the act of converting uncertainty into certainty. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

For humans, humility begins with the understanding that we cannot know the future. If you encounter misfortune now yet believe that good fortune will arrive in a few days, you will not be disheartened during difficult times. Conversely, if you are fortunate now but are aware that misfortune will strike soon, you will not become arrogant. Thus, humility involves preparing for an uncertain future. Being humble doesn’t mean you avoid misfortunes altogether; nevertheless, your possibilities of navigating them successfully statistically improve. Knowing the future is not necessarily an advantage in our lives. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”
