Throughout history, humans have only been able to voluntarily choose where they want to live for a short time. Achieving freedom of movement marks a fundamental change in the form and character of cities. The development of transportation has completely transformed our lives. The emergence and evolution of transportation means, such as electric vehicles and high-speed trains, indicate that we are in the middle of a revolution that humanity is experiencing for the first time.
