There exist two categories of leaders: those who prioritize individuals and those who prioritize circumstances. Which category do you fall into? Leaders who prioritize circumstances may easily overlook the needs of individuals, driven by an underlying fear of adverse outcomes impacting them. Ultimately, those who favor circumstances above individuals exhibit a tendency to prioritize self-protection over the welfare of those they lead. In contrast, leaders who prioritize individuals, even amidst challenging situations, demonstrate the qualities of exemplary leadership. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Sin starts with fear and ends with courage. It then repeats with ease and profit. When sins are repeated, people become desensitized to the harm caused to others and even employ convincing logic that justifies the sinner’s morals. Unfortunately, humans are pretty inventive when it comes to sin. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Greed, regret, excessive care, unreasonable disconnection, excuses, defenses, lies, dignity, and elaborate schemes; the essence behind these phenomena is fear. The unique response that occurred after Adam and Eve sinned was to hide out of fear. The object of fear becomes the object of worship. While religion should help balance fear and worship, it often exploits it. This is called “depravity.” Anyone can be depraved, anyone! - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

What is the difference between an owner who believes that the company should never close in any situation and an owner who believes that our company can shut its doors at any time? Certainly, there are many differences. Fear stems from something that has yet to occur. The awareness sense to which work has yet to happen is a crucial perspective because it profoundly affects business philosophy. The crisis was tied to the range of fear. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Plants produce a toxin called alkaloids for their protection. Over 200 types of alkaloids exist in nature, and they are known for their bitter taste. Humans dislike bitterness and prefer sweetness. Among taste receptors, there are four times as many receptors for detecting bitter flavors compared to other taste perceptions, which is believed to be an evolutionary adaptation for safety against toxins. Fear is an instinctual response in humans to ensure security. Aversion to pain may also serve as a survival mechanism. Don’t be vaguely afraid of fear. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

The phenomenon of making choices that contradict one’s genuine feelings in order to avoid isolation or blend in with others is termed the “Abilene Paradox.” Such paradoxes occur when a group’s choice results in unfavorable outcomes, even as a member publicly endorses it while secretly criticizing the group’s original decision. This situation often arises from individuals’ fear that voicing their discomfort may disturb others, particularly in settings that suppress authentic emotional expression. This underscores the difficulty of effective organizational communication and emphasizes the vital role that leadership plays in any organization. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

When it comes to people, what is more frightening, guns or bullets? Of course, it is a gun. People are more sensitive to direct threats than indirect threats. The invisible is not afraid. The essence of fear comes from the “unknown,” but it also comes into contact with calculations that seem more likely to be a threat. The free time that threats have not yet been implemented plays a rich soil in corruption and crime. However, the guns and bullets are all scary. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

One of the easiest businesses in the world is the sale of fear. Fear is closely tied to how we survive, but safety is an emotion that comes after survival. Therefore, avoiding fear is prioritized over staying safe. Hence, many entrepreneurs are easily tempted to fear-market "OOO FREE". In other words, "OOO FREE" means "maybe someone else has it" instead of "I don't have it," and the conclusion is that this conduct sows fear in the public. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Most people substitute the issue of choice with the issue of ability. They recognize they cannot do it because scaring to make the wrong choice or lack the knowledge. Banks pay me 1 to 2 percent interest annually on deposits but charge me 4 to 5 percent on loans. It's a game where I'm losing money in every way. Then, I want to avoid putting my money in the bank. It would be better to use it to purchase that bank's stocks as a substitute but meticulous care is required. To make a choice, you have to conquer your fears. How is this a difference of ability? - Joseph’s “just my thoughts"
