Just my thoughts #0570

“I can live well alone!” is not correct. If I live alone, I can survive to some extent, but ultimately, it is hard to survive, and “living well” is even more challenging. This is because the economic principle is established not by ‘alone’ but by ‘many people.’ If I live well, it means that someone has become poor because of me or is living well with me. The fact that through value exchange, or transaction, we can meet each other’s needs and store the surplus from that production is both true and real. Trading is not done in isolation. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Wise people don’t need managing, foolish people are unnecessary to manage, those who love you don’t require managing, and those who don’t love you aren’t worth managing. This is why I need to be more of ‘me’ rather than trying to conform to others; it also explains why the world is more likely to function properly if I take good care of myself. It doesn’t mean you have to live selfishly, but it does mean you’d better accept altruistic selfishness . - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Don’t build a house on a breathtaking mountain. Instead, constructing a home where we can admire the mountain is a submission to reason. If you possess it solely for its beauty and appeal, its value will diminish. People can distinguish between good and bad, but they lack the knowledge to create, maintain, and extend value. They aspire to have nice things yet avoid contemplating how to boost their worth. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”
