This world is designed to favor the elderly. Gaining experience through trial and error first means that you have a competitive advantage over latecomers. It also occupies an advantageous position in social organization. This is the advantage that arises from being the first to start. However, the statement that 1 plus 1 equals 2 can be understood without any experience; it serves as an analytic proposition that can be known by reason compared to the aforementioned experiential proposition. In other words, in the realm of analytic propositions, the advantage of being older does not hold much weight. The world needs both experiential propositions and analytic propositions, but experience is not always essential. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

We express our attitudes and thoughts through words. Words can also influence our thinking. Choosing and using words that suit the situation helps prevent misunderstandings and fosters relationships. Even those who wake up on the brink of death in a coma do not easily change the words they have been using. Words shape a person, and the person reflects their words. A good way to check and monitor yourself is to write, even if you’re not a professional writer. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

For a business to succeed, kairos, situations, and relationships are all essential. Kairos is an aspect beyond human control, often described as ‘luck.’ It exists within a realm ruled by coincidence and timing. Situation pertains to the interests of the land, encompassing all resources except human resources. Relationships represent human resources that I can cultivate through human unity. Among these three elements, there is a saying that kairos accounts for 70% of success, leaving 30% to other factors. This underscores why we should avoid boasting about our abilities, even in the face of our achievements. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Capability belongs to the individual, while ability extends beyond the individual level, as it is essential for setting goals and achieving performance. This implies that one cannot accomplish results alone. To achieve results, there are factors that transcend the individual and are significantly influenced by kairos, situations, and relationships. No single person can control all of these elements. Kairos refers to divine timing, while situations arise from abilities and relationships, which persist as an authority. The effectiveness of a position is termed power, and Max Weber defined it as “the power to carry out one’s will regardless of the will of others.” - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Years of research by cognitive psychologists indicate that creative individuals are influenced more by situational factors than by their inherent talent. Essentially, being able to navigate a creative context is more crucial than possessing creative skills. Creativity does not exist in isolation; it is shaped by the surrounding environment and context. People are influenced more by their circumstances than by personal abilities. To reach their objectives, individuals must understand the necessary tools and techniques. However, concentrating solely on these tools can lead to a loss of perspective on the ultimate goals. Establishing clear goals can transform the environment and context in which one operates. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

There are many reasons why a business is challenging. Still, the most general and essential mistake is the inability to distinguish between “good and bad revenues” and “good and bad debts.” Competitors take away good revenues if you are not competitive, and relatively inadequate revenues are selected. If the financial situation is terrible, choosing a lousy debt rather than a good one will be possible. Sometimes, your situation makes a bad choice, but somebody stands up to the problem and endures a chance. In other words, emotion and patience are more important than the situation. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”
