Milutin Milanković argued that the Earth’s Ice Age was caused by a change in the Earth’s orbit around the sun. This change is said to affect the inclination of the Earth’s northern and southern hemispheres and reduce the amount of solar radiation. However, the main reason is believed to be that summer isn’t hot enough. The ice kept accumulating as summer passed, and winter arrived before all the ice could melt. Even in our lives, things we neglect tend to build up and lead to big problems. Small, untreated chores can produce significant results over time. Good luck or bad luck, maybe that’s all there is. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Only when there is a surplus can new things be created. Surplus means having more than what is necessary. Creating something new requires an initial investment in advance. Whether it’s labor or capital —that is, whether labor is purchased with capital—energy can only be used for new work if there is a surplus. Only with prior investment can something entirely new, never seen before, be made. The existence of something that did not exist before in this world results from someone putting in their surplus first. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Recording and storing purposes include reloading, confirming, and recalling memories and data when needed later. There is nothing more foolish than when recording and storage become ends in themselves. The same applies to money. When frugality and saving become ends in themselves, the function of generating profit through investing money and creating surplus by spending turns into foolish storage that fails to achieve a positive function. Such a person will engage in activities that neither they nor others can benefit from. We should always examine whether the ends and means have been interchanged. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”
