Sometimes one event causes another. In such cases, the first event is often the result of a previous event that led to it. For example, if you roll a die and get a 3, that result already includes the number 3 on the die. Essentially, trust enhances efficiency, whereas money, in the absence of trust, leads to avoidable expenses.
