Sometimes one event causes another. In such cases, the first event is often the result of a previous event that led to it. For example, if you roll a die and get a 3, that result already includes the number 3 on the die. With just a glance, it’s easy for humans to intuitively grasp a person’s emotions. Most herbivorous animals have horizontally shaped pupils, an evolutionary adaptation that allows them to detect approaching predators even while they bow down to graze.
