Iteration and Optimization: It would be great to do something well on the first try, but humans are not perfect. To do it well, you need to go through repeated failures and successes, and during that process, you have to identify the pattern that works best for you. This process is called optimization. Optimization requires iteration. Efficiency and profits are guaranteed by repeating a process until a particular singularity is achieved, thereby maintaining that level of excellence. The general rule for success in society is to iterate and keep optimizing. Being consistent is the fastest way to improve. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”
It's a simple calculation. No matter how unstable the economy, residential real estate prices are unlikely to increase tenfold in a decade. But it's quite possible for the stock of Apple, Amazon, or Google to increase tenfold in that time. That's because they're organizations that continue to create value-added. It's very easy to make better investment judgments and decisions, but our instinct to seek stability can lead us astray.
