We don’t care about money deposited in the bank. If we ask the bank for money, I believe they will certainly return my funds. However, as shown by Lehman Brothers ’  bankruptcy during the 2008 financial crisis, banks cannot guarantee 100% of depositors’ money. In South Korea, according to the Depositor Protection Act, only 100 million won (about USD 71,000) is protected, including principal and interest per person. Anything beyond that is actually at risk. In other words, money deposited in the bank is vulnerable to losing the principal. Investing means willingly accepting the risk of losing the principal while seeking profit. Whether we like it or not, we are always investing in our daily lives. Just because a risk doesn’t materialize doesn’t mean it’s gone. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Yeast consumes glucose and produces alcohol along with CO2. This action serves as a defense mechanism to protect against other microbiomes. In other words, the alcohol produced by yeast acts as a poison to eliminate other microbiomes. Thus, a solution with over 70% alcohol concentration can effectively eradicate the COVID-19 virus. We gladly consume the poison that yeast produces in liquor. Probably, isn’t there only a very thin line between happiness and unhappiness?

The Anchoring Heuristic In 1974, Tversky and Kahneman divided two groups and asked one group to calculate the value of "8x7x6x5x4x3x2x1" and the other group to answer the question "1x2x3x4x5x6x7x8" immediately. "Apples are the fruit" is a true proposition. At this time, "apples" are a Sufficient Condition to be fruit, and vice versa, because the "fruit to be an apple is more necessary for other conditions such as "red, round", the fruit is a Necessary Condition to become an apple. If the proposition of "If you respect someone, you'll get married" is "true," it's a "Sufficient Condition" to find someone you admire for marriage, but it's just only a "Necessary Condition" to find someone to marry for respect. Even with respect, you can not get married. You can't get married even if the Reverse Proposition is "true." Because marriage is a matter of "choice" before conditions or needs. If you want a respectable man, you can find a great man. To live comfortably, you can find a rich man. Most people substitute the issue of choice with the issue of ability. They recognize they cannot do it because scaring to make the wrong choice or lack the knowledge. Banks pay me 1 to 2 percent interest annually on deposits but charge me 4 to 5 percent on loans. It's a game where I'm losing money in every way. Then, I want to avoid putting my money in the bank. It would be better to use it to purchase that bank's stocks as a substitute but meticulous care is required. To make a choice, you have to conquer your fears.
