There are two primary approaches to creating something: bottom-up design and top-down design . Top-down design is often seen in architecture. People do not build bricks randomly; instead, they follow the design drawings created by the architect. This method executes a plan that has already been established. When asked why something is built in a certain way, the answer is usually that the blueprint dictates its design. Conversely, bottom-up design does not start with a fixed goal, but rather involves setting and implementing small, actionable rules. For example, termite nests follow this approach. Small termites have a simple rule: to pile up soil. They do this without knowing the reason, but over time, the finished structure is remarkable and sophisticated. Some people are poor but live with a rich mind, while others are rich yet live with a poor mindset. Poverty compounded costs, and wealth compounded profits. All of them operate on the principle of compound interest. Poverty costs a lot. So, what’s the difference between a rich mind and a poor mind? Their attitude toward time varies significantly. Not everyone, but when a poor person suddenly becomes rich, they still pay the cost of poverty. The most common form is installments. Thus, even if people are rich, they often live with a poor mindset, sometimes thinking of it as savings. Even if you are poor, you can live with a rich mind, which increases your chances of getting wealthy. Debt pulls the future into the present. Drawing the future ahead of time makes people slaves. They say they are slaves of money, but in reality, they are slaves of time. If you gradually change the habit of bringing future time into the present, your attitude will shift, and your behavior will change. We want to live a better life, but before we improve the content, the container is the problem.

The most important aspect of investing is managing risk. However, in most cases, risk management is interpreted and assessed in relation to past patterns. When asset prices fall, the perceived risk appears significant. That doesn’t imply there weren’t risks; investors simply didn’t recognize the risks that originally existed. The level of risk is almost identical whether the price of an asset goes up or down, but when prices decline, they tend to drop further because fear prevents us from purchasing more assets, leading us to retreat. It’s not that the risk has escalated. It is unwise to link risk with past patterns. There have been numerous exceptions in the world, and many beings on this planet have disappeared because they could not adapt. Did dinosaurs not become extinct on Earth ? One of the principles prevailing in the natural world is that the stronger prey upon the weaker. The strong eat the weak. Thus, people seek strength. However, the statement that the stronger prey upon the weaker is partly correct and partly incorrect.
