Just My Thoughts Ebooks

What if we jotted down the fleeting sparks of inspiration that come our way each day? That question inspired me to start recording a note every day. Over time, I collected 834 entries and shared them on social media. I turned the notes into one-minute whiteboard animations, organized them by theme, and refined them into a collection of short questions and thought-provoking content. The result is a series of five books, now available in EPUB format. You can order them through the Amazon Kindle Store link in my profile. * JUST MY THOUGHTS Series: JUST MY THOUGHTS: 100 Observations on Value, Wealth, Business, and Life JUST MY THOUGHTS: 100 Observations on People, Feelings, and Everyday Life JUST MY THOUGHTS: 100 Observations on Work, Business, and Making Things Useful JUST MY THOUGHTS: 100 Observations on Money, Choices, and Uncertainty JUST MY THOUGHTS: 100 Observations on Observation, Ideas, and a Changing World * Release Date: Oct. 28th, 2026 * Amazon Kindle EBook Store https://www.ama...

Many people in our society invest in bonds. Perhaps you, reading this article, have invested in bonds at least once and are still investing now. Bank deposits are a form of bonds, just not labeled as ‘bonds.’ When you deposit your money in a bank, the money isn’t considered bank money. Interest is paid because the money isn’t withdrawn immediately. When you withdraw your deposited money, the bank must return the principal plus interest. This is essentially a bond. However, the only reason this differs from bonds as an investment asset is that these bank deposits are not traded on the market. If bank deposits were traded publicly, the interest rate would be evaluated in comparison with other deposits, even if the principal remains unchanged. Valuation reflects opportunity cost. This is the transaction value of bonds. When goods or assets are traded in the market, their value is re-evaluated. The core of value is comparison, and the tool for valuation is opportunity cost. That’s why CEOs need to understand the concept of opportunity cost.

There are two primary approaches to creating something: bottom-up design and top-down design . Top-down design is often seen in architecture. People do not build bricks randomly; instead, they follow the design drawings created by the architect. This method executes a plan that has already been established. When asked why something is built in a certain way, the answer is usually that the blueprint dictates its design. Conversely, bottom-up design does not start with a fixed goal, but rather involves setting and implementing small, actionable rules. For example, termite nests follow this approach. Small termites have a simple rule: to pile up soil. They do this without knowing the reason, but over time, the finished structure is remarkable and sophisticated. The appearance of the Sagrada Familia church , designed by Antoni Gaudí and still under construction, closely resembles a termite nest, differing only in size. Setting goals and planning is one way to create, but actual achievem...

What Truly Moves This World: Ostensibly, politics drives the world. But in reality, war, religion, and slavery are the true forces behind it. War redefines core values and shifts the balance of power in society. Naturally, power also plays a role. Even though the Roman Empire fell, the Christian Church has lasted over 2,000 years. Religion always exceeds politics. No slavery now? Even without an explicit system, slave-like traits and statuses still exist across society. Maybe this won’t disappear until the end of the world. War, religion, and slavery are fundamental to these economic systems and monetary policies . The flow of money and changes in the economic system can be understood through these three forces. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”

Compound Interest : Interest added to the original principal and its accumulated interest. Even if an asset’s price is too high or too low, it eventually converges to the market average . In fact, even with significant price volatility , it is only a matter of time before it aligns with the market average. However, there are occasions where it surpasses this average, and that’s when compounding becomes influential. Market prices reflect the actions of participants and the economic environment affecting their prices. Although sometimes distorted, they eventually revert to prices implicitly agreed upon by participants. But compound interest is a system specifically designed to outperform this market average. Interest can be monetary, but it can also be other economic effects or energy . By understanding and harnessing the power of compound interest , we can gain a significant advantage in our lives. - Joseph’s “just my thoughts”
